California’s Commercial Tenant Protection Act (SB 1103) now provides commercial tenants who operate small businesses with new legal protections of which property owners, managers and brokers must be aware. Failure to comply with this new law can expose commercial property owners to liability or impact their ability to enforce leases.

Please join Weintraub Tobin shareholder and commercial real estate attorney Alison Geddes for a complimentary webinar providing an overview of the requirements of the Commercial Tenant Protection Act and what property owners, managers and brokers need to know about:

  • Who qualifies as a Qualified Commercial Tenant (QCT)
  • New requirements and restrictions pertaining to triple net expenses for QCTs
  • Lease translation requirements for QCTs
  • Notice requirements for rent increases for leases for QCTs
  • Notice requirements to terminate leases for QCTs
